Sprinkler Field Coordinator

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

The Sprinkler Field Coordinator provides operational and technical support to the sprinkler service team. This role serves as a liaison between field technicians, service schedulers, and warehouse staff to ensure efficient scheduling, timely material availability, and effective service delivery. The position requires strong sprinkler system knowledge, field experience, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide onsite support when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technician schedules to maximize productivity and support service priorities.
  • Assist with planning service work based on urgency, staffing, and material availability.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field technicians.
  • Conduct job site surveys, service assessments, and onsite support for complex issues.
  • Coordinate material ordering, tracking, and staging with warehouse personnel.
  • Ensure technicians have the necessary parts and equipment before arriving on site.
  • Track service documentation, completed repairs, deficiencies, and follow-up work.
  • Support quoting, repair planning, and communication between field and office teams.
  • Serve as a point of contact for service-related questions from technicians, staff, and customers.
  • Collaborate with technicians, schedulers, warehouse staff, and management to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of sprinkler systems, components, and service practices.
  • Hands-on experience in sprinkler inspections, service, or repair.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and coordination skills.
  • Experience managing materials, vendors, and inventory needs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to job sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fire protection or construction.
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes.
  • Familiarity with service management or ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Experience supporting field service teams or coordinating technicians.
